Objective : To construct an airtight home as close to passive standard as practicable.

Area: 350m² of external walls filled with 150mm of BioBased 501s foam and the roof area of 150m² was filled with 200mm of BioBased 501s foam.

Solution : BioBased 501 open cell spray foam Insulation was sprayed in the entire external envelope. This cutting edge Insulation combines cutting edge technology and rapidly renewable soybeans to form a truly revolutionary and sustainable product. BioBased expands to completely fill all voids creating a sealed thermal envelope, effectively preventing air infiltration.
