Objective: When
planning the build of his new Finnish log cabin situated in the backdrop of
acres of forestry in Mullinahone Co Tipperary John wanted a high performance
insulation product that would meet all his expectations of airtightness, low
u-values and as a result low running costs.
Solution: As one third
of energy loss is through air leakage John recognized that the correct
insulation for his build would be the integral part of his quest for
airtightness and a high efficient BER rating. John researched every method
of insulation on the market and came across our website
www.biobasedinsulation.ie. After lengthy chats with Peter Woodcock from
BioBased Insulation John came away with specific information suited to his
build which meant he could make an informed decision. Greanseal Spray Foam
Insulation where the certified insallers appointed to this job who sprayed
150ml of BioBased Insulation 501 in the walls and 200ml of BioBased 501 in
the roof.
